Beating a path across Canada last year, these two Vancouver songwriters made fans from Victoria to Montreal and every major city in between during an epic 2 month tour. Since then, Tandy relocated to Nashville, writing for, and with, some of the world’s most exciting emerging artists, while Kleisinger recorded and self released I Hope its Calm, Then - his most accomplished work yet. The pair are scheduled for 20 dates across Western Canada this July.

Entry is free, but tipping musicians is suggested.

About Larissa Tandy:
Hailing from rural Australia, Larissa came up from the underground of Melbourne’s world class music scene, mining her difficult life for potent stories and spinning them into songs that made their way onto radio in America, the UK, and Canada where the CBC ordained them as “songs you need to hear”.

Filtering the urgent poetry of Patti Smith and the untamed cool of Liz Phair, Tandy is carving her own path in the world of modern americana. With blazing showcases at Americanafest and Folk Alliance, her momentum continues to gather. Her acclaimed debut The Grip spent 4 months in the US Americana charts and reached number 2 in Canada. She recently made the move to Music City Nashville as the recipient of the prestigious Nashville Songwriter Residency, where she now lives and works as an in-demand songwriter.

About Zach Kleisinger:
This young, crooning troubadour from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan has spent the last three years on the road, taking his Dylan-esque, folk infused blues to every bar he could find between Vancouver and Montreal. His earnest optimism, poetic musings, gravelly baritone and tasteful guitar playing have won him an audience, show by show, and song by song. With his new EP, I Hope It's Calm, Then, Kleisinger comes of age, showcasing his mature songwriting and sonic muscle.

“Zach Kleisinger invokes artists like Tom Waits, Kris Kristofferson, even hints of the boss, in an utterly contemporary, yet timeless, offering” – NMS

Armed with an arsenal of bluesy guitar licks that hit like aged whiskey and a smoky sweet voice that could be bottled for backyard barbecues, Myc Sharratt crafts songs that draw from the heart, the working man, the dreamer.
Sharratt’s latest, the 2016 Vancouver Island Music Awards Album of the Year nominated, “Cellar Door” is a tribute to his late mother and father. The craft of songwriting is clearly appreciated and respected by Sharratt in this timeless yet ever present collection of tunes.
“Cellar Door” began tracking in North Vancouver with, Juno award winning producer, Ryan Stewart. The pair previously worked together on Sharratt’s first two albums “Incomplete” and “Blueprint”. The latter album earned Sharratt 5 Vancouver Island Music Award nominations including a win for Male Vocalist of the Year.
His third effort “Six Feet Above” is a live album recorded in his hometown of Nanaimo. It drew a VIMA Songwriter nomination and a Top 20 nod for 104.3 FM ‘Sounds of Summer’ radio contest. Sharratt’s memorable and soulful live act has brought him across the globe. It was during a tour across the pond, that production of “Cellar Door” continued, in Ireland, with Lisa Hannigan band alum Gavin Glass.
Sharratt co-produced the majority of the album back home, with Todd Dunsmore, in a converted stone cathedral into home studio. The surroundings perfectly suited the honest and organic songs Myc Sharratt writes and performs.
